Black Wing Martial Arts School
Black Wing Martial Arts School is offering classes of Tang Soo Do and Samurai Chanbara, or Spochan.
The school started teaching Spochan martial art in 2013 with Masashi Miyata sensei and Swit Piano Korkit sensei.
Successfully entered Thailand national team in 2015 Black Wing Martial Arts School is officially authorized to teach with licensed instructors by the founder, Kaicho Tanabe Tetsundo, and ISCA (International Sports Chanbara Association).
Sensei Swit Piano Korkit is the head instructor of Samurai Sports Chanbara Eastern Thailand, official license ISCA, No.6152.
Spochan is a sport developed from Kendo and Ken Jutsu (originally with bamboo sword) but the fighting style allows to move freestyle and doesn’t require an armor. Sparring is performed using headgear and airsoft weapons.
The system was founded by Kaicho Tanabe Tetsundo in the year 1971 and established by All Japan Self-Defense Federation in 1973.
Fighting practices include a wide range of weapons and styles:

- Kodachi (short sword)
- Choken Free (Long sword 1 hand)
- Choken Morote (Long sword held 2 hands)
- Nito (2 swords)
- Tate-Kodachi (Shield and short sword)
- Tate-Choken (Shield and long sword)
- Tanto (knife)
- Tanso (Short Spear)
- Choso or Yari (Long spear)
- Naginata or Nagamaki (Spear with long blade)
TangSooDo is a Korean martial art based on Karate (Moo Duk Kwan) and it’s the root of the modern sport Taekwondo nowadays, GM Guy Larke is the supportive master in the Federation.
The style was inherited from China and incorporate principles of Chinese martial arts like Kung Fu and elements of Shotokan Karate (by G.Funakoshi). The founder of TangSooDo Karate was Hwang Kee, who developed the system by mixing his knowledge of Korean martial arts and Chinese Kung fu apprehended in his travels across the Great Wall in the late 1930s.
The name TangSooDo means Chinese Hand Way, also same as the internal art called TangShouDao from Taiwan.
Master Swit Korkit (5th dan) is Thailand TangSooDo’s President under GM Choung Koe Woong 10th Dan from World TangSooDo General Federation (South Korea) and GM Chun Sik Kim 9th Dan (USA) International TangSooDo Federation.
The school also organize training camps with Japan Spochan Team with Hosokawa Kenichi Sensei and Tenshin Shoden Katori, and Shinto Ryu by Odate Masashi Sensei as well as TangSooDo seminars in South Korea.
Taekwondo is also cooperated with KTA asSwit Piano Korkit sensei is an official member of Korean Taekwondo Masters Association in Thailand under GM Jeong Sung Hee 7th Dan and UWTA (United World Taekwondo Association) under GM Tim McHugh.
Self Defense is thought as following the principles of the internal martial art TangShouDao. Swit Piano Korkit sensei studied under Master Somkid Rasameedham who was a student of GM Bing Lee under GM Zhu Hongji from Taiwan.
Furthermore, Swit Piano Korkit sensei is related to Wing Tsun Athletic Association in Hong Kong as good friendship with Master Leung Mic who is under Sifu Cheng Chiping and GM Ip Chun.
