ONE Championship “Warriors of the World” 2017
We attended a great fight card at ONE Championship “Warriors of the World” on December 9h, 2017.
Alex “Little Rock” Silva (Evolve MMA) from Brazil allowed us this interview right after his fight against Yoshitaka “Nobita” Naito winning the belt and becoming the new ONE Championship Strawweight Champion by unanimous decision after 5 rounds.

During the interview Silva affirms that he preferred to show his striking performance to the audience in Bangkok instead of his preferred grappling and wrestling game because he didn’t want to bore the crowd. But he is looking forward to show all of his BJJ arsenal on his next fight to defend the belt.
Naito agrees about Silva Kicks: “They hurt a lot!”.
Thai-Japanese female fighter Rika “Tiny Doll” Ishige (Tiger Muay Thai – Bangkok Fight Lab) had a spectacular win against the Filipino opponent Rome “The Rebel” Trinidad in their Atomweight bout.
Rika displayed a remarkable improvement in her moves and, as she stated, she was more mentally prepared as well as physically. “Tiny Doll” dominated the match with Rome with a well executed Rear Naked Choke on the second round.
