Shotokan Karate – JKA Thailand

JKA Thailand is the most respectable traditional Shotokan Karate school in Thailand.

Formerly known as “Thai-Japan Shotokan Karate Association (Thailand)”, JKA had grown in Thailand thanks to the great effort of the Chief Instructor Sensei Fujikiyo Omura (8 dan) for over 20 years, and its activities have been included in the Thailand National Games for may years.

The JKA is the original and oldest Shotokan Karate organization. It was established in 1949 by the founder of the Shotokan style, Gichin Funakoshi, and it’s well know as the “The Keeper of Karate’s Highest Tradition, .

The classes are on Sunday from 9:00 to 10:30 for beginners and intermediate students, 10:30 to 12:00 for advanced students (brown belts and black belts).

The dojo provides locker rooms and showers for the students and there is also a small cafe attached to the training location.
