Boxer Rebellion is an International Martial Art Club where you can learn and train different martial arts and effective self defense systems.

The team of world class instructors can walk you through the basics if you have never boxed before and if you’re looking to compete, coach Dom and Shane have both competed in the world elite level and have years of experience.

The Instructors:

Dominique Fontanarosa: Kickboxing / Savate, Boxing, Competitive Striking

Dominique is a former professional fighter. In Savate (French Kickboxing), he achieved a record of 76 wins and 6 losses; in 1993 he was crowned World Champion. In kickboxing, he lost only once in 27 bouts, and won both European And World Champion belts. In International boxing his record is 24 wins and 7 losses. In addition to being a great competitor, Dom is an experienced trainer who tailors instruction to the needs and attributes of each student.


Shane Wiggan: MMA, Muay Thai, Grappling

Shane is a career martial artist who began judo at 14, competed at the collegiate & state level (taking 2nd in Illionois & Texas), and coached at Texas A&M University. He has also fought professionally in Both MMA (14 fights) and Muay Thai (22 fights, 10 KO), and is certified by the World Muay Thai Council. His other martial arts experience includes wrestling & Brazilian jiu-jitsu. (Shane Wiggan Judo facebook page)

Leigh Harris: Filipino Martial Arts, Self Defense ( includes elements of Krav Maga, KAPAP, Jeet Kune Do and The Approach)

Leigh Harris has been training with Sifu Mark Stewart since 2000.  He is the Director of Boxer Rebellion and besides Jeet Kune Do, he is qualified to teach Krav Maga, Filipino Martial Arts and The Approach Self Protection Method.

Mark Stewart (special guest instructor): Jeet Kune Do, Weapons

Mark Stewart is the Founder and Head Instructor of International Jeet Kune Do and SKD Tactical Weaponry (Kali). Mark is best known for returning JKD back to L.A. Chinatown thru the Lineage of Ted Lucaylucay and Ted Wong as well as spreading the arts throughout Asia. Full infos at


The Gym:

Our gym in Thaniya Plaza, is best reached by leaving exit 1 of Sala Daeng BTS station, and taking the third entrance to the Thaniya Plaza building along soi Thaniya with lifts to the 9th floor immediately inside.

NOTE–You’ll need to ask the gym reception for the Boxer Rebellion sign-in book to get your locker key and towel.  Take the emergency exit from the back of the main weights room, and go down the stairs and through the first door to reach our training gym.
